We’re suffering from several examples of insurrection, and the Constitution provides tools for dealing with insurrection. So let’s use those tools and solve the problems.
Definitions of insurrection include phrases such as “organized opposition to authority” and “usually armed”, so it’s clear that insurrection need not be armed conflict. It can be the refusal of a group to obey the law of the land. And that’s what we have.
- The State of California refuses to execute the Laws of the Union regarding immigration.
- The Democrats in the U.S. Senate refuse to execute the Laws of the Union regarding the passage of a federal budget.
So call forth the Militia and put down the insurrection, execute the Laws of the Union.
Drag the California officials off to Gitmo and have the Militia execute the Laws of the Union regarding immigration. Drag away the 40 or so Democrats who block the passage of a budget with their filibuster, and have the remaining Senators repeal the obstructionist rules so that the Laws of the Union can be executed.
If the remaining Senators still won’t execute the Laws of the Union, then drag ‘em all away and have Governors fill the vacancies with new appointments. Keep doing this until we get a United States Senate who will execute the Laws of the Union.
The Laws of the Union damn sure get enforced on us. And we’re tired of the double standard for politicians. So call forth the Militia and put down the insurrection, execute the Laws of the Union. Am I the only one who’s fed up with the double standard? We have the tools, so apply the tools and make these arrogant pricks obey the law.
